Carving Work

A load of covered jars after trimming but before carving.
Little spiral motif and pomegranite.

Wisteria, pomegranite and textured.
I love making and carving these jars. However, they are really time consuming and I get fussy with the lids and trying to get a nice fit. These bottom ones will have a "mixed media" knob assembly.

HI
Great! These are quintessential Vickibluegill
You are the best at this!
In recent workshop with Robin Hopper, he makes the lids then the pots to fit.

Thanks, I can't wait to see them glazed and finished, either. Pam, I use one piece of clay, throw the lide first off the hump, then the body. Started doing that after making all parts for teapots that way. It made sense to me because I didn't have to deal with centering tiny little bits of clay.
